Everyone Deserves a Chance and Boys and Girls Club of Baldwin Park, CA kicked off the #TEAMEDAC workshop Tuesday June 21st. This educational day brought over 25 kids ages 7-11 together to experience the #TEAMEDAC interactive workshop stations. The kids gathered around for instruction about DJ history, types of DJing, and how the power of music can help inspire, express, and bring people together of all different ages. Hands on learning started with a Pionner XDJ / SUBPAC M2 interactive station that allowed students to learn how to mix and scratch while understanding the feeling of bass with our SUBPAC M2. Our second station included Native Instruments Maschine /SUBPAC S2 in which kids learned to finger drum and sequence rhythms. This station was the most challenging to the students. It was equipped with a set of head phones and the SUBPAC S2. This combination brought instant smiles the kid’s faces every time they pressed a button.

Everyone Deserves a Chance will be at the Boys and Girls Club of Baldwin Park, Tuesdays through July 12th, 1:00 – 2:30 PM.
