Galactic Gallery x SUBPAC

By May 2, 2018No Comments
The Galactic Gallery Virtual Reality experience explores intersections between traditional art, new media, and subsonic frequency sound design. It’s an immersive experience with special 3D effects applied to visionary art and reactive tactile sounds that were designed to be felt using the SUBPAC. The main soundtrack and sound effects were created by SUBPAC ambassador David Starfire using an S2. Additional songs were created by SUBPAC artists, CloZee, and Kalya Scintilla. The visual and technical designer, Zach Krausnick, took the idea of a cosmic art gallery and transformed the idea into the amazing world of VR.
The SUBPAC M2x is a crucial component of the Galactic Gallery VR experience and is used at every exhibit. It was presented at major conventions and festivals including Comic-Con, Burning Man, Art Basel, VRLA, Art & VR, Lightning in a Bottle, Los Angeles Brewery Art Walk, Eclipse Festival, and many others. The Galactic Gallery VR experience takes you on a journey with art from the world’s top visionary artists featuring Android Jones (creator of the popular Microdose VR Experience), Chris Dyer, Mugwort, Xavi, Raul Casillas, Luke Brown, Amanda Sage, Hans Haveron, and Simon Haiduk.
The Galactic Gallery has become a favorite in the VR community and won 2nd place for the prestigious HTV Viveport Developer awards in the Art and Culture category. It’s available on STEAM and can be experienced using the VIVE, Oculus, and Microsoft Mixed Reality headsets.
