SUBPAC at DeafNation Expo

Earlier this month SUBPAC traveled to the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas to exhibit our technology at the 13th annual DeafNation World Expo. This expo is one of world’s top events to attend for individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. With over 23,000 in attendance from nearly 73 countries worldwide, our team was there to demo our M2 and S2 units. Many who demoed the SUBPAC were not able to hear the music through the headphones, but were able to determine the beat of songs being played. For some, it was the first time they were able to experience music in a way that makes sense.

“I can feel this all through my body – this new technology is really interesting…I wish I would have an M2 during my musical rehearsals when I was in Spring Awakening last fall. I am completely Deaf and it was difficult at times for me to feel the low tunes and the high tunes for my cues. If I had this technology, I would have really benefitted from the experience during my rehearsals.” – Daniel Durant

SUBPAC also partnered with Deaf DJ, Nico Dimarco for a rooftop silent disco party at Rehab Beach Club in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Guests were able to check out a SUBPAC M2 and jam out to Nico’s set while dancing around the rooftop lounge and pool. It was a great success with a lot of high energy and plenty of deaf talent.
