Legends of the internet, “the front page” Reddit and Amazon-owned streaming platform for the gaming masses Twitch came together for the first EVER Reddit x Twitch House at SXSW 2017. The 3 day event featured some of the biggest streamers from Twitch stopping by and performances from our friends TheWaveVR with their coterie of VR and music DJ producers such as Grimecraft and 2ToneDisco the first night, followed by a massive performance by all of A$AP Mob the second night presented by MTV, and an invitation only performance from Snoop Dogg himself on the third night.
SUBPAC set-up an immersive deep listening lounge that allowed for people experience music of all of the performers as well as a selection of our favorite live mixes from the beginning of the year. Party-goers were also able to strap into SUBPAC M2s and dance around the rooftop of the event using silent disco technology which saw some of the wildest dance moves at all of SXSW. No one dances quite the same once they have the feeling of music running through them while wearing a SUBPAC M2.
We are hugely thankful to the entire Reddit and Twitch teams for putting together such an epic 3 day event and having us out to blow people’s minds with bass.
