CRSSD FESTIVAL in San Diego

By March 16, 2015September 20th, 2017No Comments

Over the blazing hot weekend of March 14 and 15, San Diego’s legendary promotional company LED threw their first ever CRSSD Festival under their new spin-off promotional brand FNGRS CRSSD. Spanning 2 days and 3 stages, directly on the San Diego waterfront it was an ambitious production that paid off in spades. A lineup like this has never hit the sandy shores of San Diego and comparisons to other more seasoned festivals in the area were often drawn – with attendees of CRSSD decidedly pointing to CRSSD as an example of how a festival should be booked and run. Shallow pools and fountains throughout the crowd at the mainstage allowed revellers to dance and play in the cool water during the day. Pillows, giant bean bags, Persian rug-like blankets and lay nicely placed about the grassy grounds. The ambience was perfect and you were want to find a non-smiling face in the crowd the entire weekend.

SUBPAC had the privilege to have it’s own cabana set up in the backstage area allowing artists and company to come and hang out and check out the brand new SUBPAC S2 before their sets. With visits from Lee Burridge, Giraffage, MK, Slow Magic, Bixel Boys, Wax Motif, and more it was a pleasure to have a space for people to cool off and feel some good vibes with the power of the SUBPAC S2. A special thank you to Lee K and Tyson Ziebarth of CRSSD for having us out, running an amazing contest with us, and being all around stellar people to work with. Keep on spreading bass in SoCal CRSSD team!
