Over the last few years, we have enjoyed working with London-based immersive venue Aures. Nestled under Waterloo station by Leake street graffiti tunnel, Aures specializes in immersive events, exhibitions, performances, and research with their strategic partners Arigami.
As venues start to open up in the UK, Aures has announced a new project: Lex Tempus. A whirlwind audiovisual tour of the mighty musical genres of Jazz, Funk, Soul, and Disco via three American cities spanning three decades.
A spatialized sound system, venue-wide dramatic immersive projections by Observatory design, and SUBPAC‘s to provide the audience with crucial low frequencies sound like it will be lots of fun with the added benefit of learning the history of these essential genres of music! Bespoke scents and mixologists mixing up cocktails inspired by the cities featured also add extra sensory touches.
Whether you are a die-hard music head and want to experience all the classics in a completely new way or want to immerse yourself in low frequencies, we recommend booking a covid secure session before they are fully booked.
We want to extend a massive thanks to the team at Aures as they continue to operate through these turbulent times for music venues across the UK while still maintaining their experimental and exploratory passion for music and technology.
