SUBPAC with AUDiNT at AND Festival

SUBPAC  was invited by AUDINT to support them as part of their Undercurrency Vault: 53.3414° N, 1.7921° W  installation at AND Festival which took place at Castleton in the heart of the English countryside’s Peak District.

Undercurrency Vault: 53.3414° N, 1.7921° W is a performative journey underground that weaves together subterranean, sonic, and somatic histories. Experienced as a multi-sensory tour through the “bottomless pit” of the spectacular Speedwell Cavern. Read more

Members of the public descended 200ft into the depths of the Speedwell Cave wearing their hardhats, SUBPAC’s where low frequencies produced by Audint’s Kode9 were transmitted wirelessly into the user’s body, given a lozenge stimulating the ‘Taste of Fear’, (created by Stockport Experience) boarded their vessel and sailed along the canal into the abyss!
